What makes Eldorado Community Church unique? Eldorado Community Church adheres to a unique philosophy of ministry. Our weekend services present the timeless truths of Christianity in a way that connects with people in their lives today. We use a variety of mediums to communicate those truths: the arts, culture, dialogue, the senses, etc. No matter where you are on your spritual journey, you can grow in your understanding of Christianity at the services.
In the near future, we will have midweek services that are designed for people who wish to develop their relationship with Christ through worship, communion, and in-depth biblical teaching. There are also additional plans for Home Teams (small groups) to meet in homes through the community , fostering relationships and spiritual growth.
What will the service be like?
Worship, drama, use of the arts, contemporary music, practical messages, and other creative mediums are all elements of our weekend services. We also build in time before and after the service for coffee and conversation.
What should I wear?
Casual clothing is the norm at Eldorado Community Church. Shorts in the summer, sweaters in the winter, and leave the suit and tie at home.
How long are the services?
A typical weekend service will last no longer than an hour, sometimes less.
Where do my kids go during the service?
Our children's ministry provides an exciting experience for infants, toddlers, presschoolers, and grade schoolers through grade 6.
How do I "join" Eldorado Community Church?
To be a part of the faith community at Eldorado Community Church all that is necessary is to come because everybody belongs. The Church will do its best to serve needs, teach, love, and allow individuals to serve no matter where they are in their spiritual journey.
The New Testament presents a picture of definable groups of people who, once committed to the Lord Jesus Christ, identified themselves and committed themselves to serve God in a particular local body (Acts 2:42-46; Romans 16:1; I Corinthians 1:2; II Corinthians 8:1; Philippians 1:1; Acts 11:26). We identify individuals who want to make a greater commitment to serve with the term “Volunteer Staff”, which involves a certain process…
The Volunteer Staff Process
•1 Have made a focused commitment to Christ.
•2 Have made a public confession of faith through baptism
(must have made a focused commitment to Christ first).
•3 Be connected to a Life Group or Ministry Team.
•4 Have completed “Life in Christ”.
(a session with church leaders about our life in Christ).
•5 Have completed “Life in Church”.
(an event with church leaders sharing our vision and values)
(** You must complete 1-4 before attending this event)
•6 Commit to abide by the Staff Covenant.
(see below)
•7 Participate in a Staff Commissioning event
(contact the Pastor, Life-Group leader, or Ministry Team leader)

Is this church Christian in its identity?
Though non-traditional in style, Eldorado Community Church is deeply commited to the eternal truths of the Christian faith. Our vision is simple: to engage people in Eldorado, Rancho Viejo, and southeast Santa Fe in the process of becoming followers of Christ. Our mission is equally clear: to glorify God and enjoy him forever as we love, live, and serve.
However, what truly defines a church is not simply its doctrine, but its values. Eldorado Community Church's values shape who we are. Below are the eight core values and some of the passages from Bible the that support them:
